Devolver Digital opened their E3 2017 conference with Reikon Games’ upcoming Ruiner. Ruiner was teased prior to the event, but the conference revealed its cyberpunk action gameplay.
Ruiner is a top down action game set in a futuristic cyberpunk dystopia. Players will use dozens of attack types they’ve come to expect from the genre, including sci-fi plasma rifles, pulse railguns, sonic weapons, and more. Melee combat is also offered with Katanas, shield dashes and more.
Details were sparse in the trailer, but Reikon says Ruiner will be a “brutal story-driven game” inspired by classic cyberpunk anime.
