At E3 Sunday night, Bethesda’s Pete Hines announced two VR games coming in 2017: Doom VFR and Fallout 4 VR.
For Doom, players will experience proper hand interactions and motion-tracked gunplay with the HTC Vive. With teleport locomotion, high-octane action, and large-scale maps, Doom VFR looks to rival the AAA action outings currently on the Vive.
The Fallout trailer highlighted exploration, base building, and combat. Teleport locomotion was not apparent, nor were further hand interactions. Fallout 4 VR releases in October.
Between the two titles, Bethesda was the first conference of the show, proceeding EA and Xbox, to show a focus on VR.
