Spectrevision and Ubisoft have announced a terrifying-looking VR title, Transference. Details are scant, but the trailer features Elijah Wood (Maniac) discussing the uploading of content, and the trailer blurs the line beautifully between pieces from the actual game, and interviews about the production of the game. The game appears to be some kind of psychological horror game, using VR and with some excellent actors. Sadly that’s all there is for details, but the appearance of Blue Ruin’s Macon Blair is enough for me to legitimately consider picking up a Playstation VR just for the experience.
Transference is set to release in the Spring of 2018, so there’s a bit of a wait yet, but it is easily one of the most interesting announcements at the conference thus far.
