Ubisoft’s E3 2016 conference began with new footage and information on Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Wildlands is a first person shooter, and is touted as being the “first military shooter playable entirely in solo or four-player co-op.” Ubisoft also said that Wildlands will deliver the largest open world Ubisoft has ever created.
Ubisoft said that Wildlands is focused on delivering a freedom of choice and experience in missions, from stealth to action gunplay, to vehicular combat and chases, and the use of gadgets like a deployable drone for scouting.
The story of the game is focused on the idea of Bolivia as a narco-state, and pits the players as spec-ops versus a drug cartel in control of the country. In a gameplay trailer, players attempted to secure and extract an escaping cartel leader.
Wildlands will release on March 7, 2017.
